Marts 2012 - 100 years anniversary
C. C. Hansen has been an International supplier of household items since 1912.
The 3rd generation is represented by Mr. Kurt Hansen who together with his son Robert La Cour 4th generation, is the owner of the company.
Carl Christian Hansen started his company in 1905 and in 1912 the production of pegs began.
“It did not take long time before C.C. Hansen found the right article to produce, clothes pegs. But it had to be mass production and here he had to use machines, which did not exist. C.C. Hansen was inventive, and eventually he found a machine that could spin steel wire with a clothespin far better than previously known, and it could work quickly. The production of pegs ranged from 7,000 to 14,000 clips per week, but the capacity increased several thousand times over the years since C.C. Hansen kept improving the machines. For many years, the pegs was assembled by hand, by the prisoners in many prisons, but he also invented a machine that could assemble the pegs.
Gradually the pegs from Roskilde was sold throughout the world, and the peg factory in Roskilde was the largest in Europe.”
Much has happened since the company was founded in Hersegade in 1912 to the worldwide business, which today has an office in China and its headquarter in Elisagårdsvej, Roskilde.


April 2011 - PLMA Amsterdam
C. C. Hansen will participate in ”Private Label Manufacturers Association’s” fair in Amsterdam 24 - 25 May. We hope to see you at our stand 2732.

C. C. Hansen has become a regular member of BSCI. We now have the opportunity to ensure the high quality of our audits by accessing the BSCI international network of accredited auditing companies. The Business Social Compliance Initiative is a leading business-driven initiative for companies committed to improving working conditions in the global supply chain.


January 2011 - New Sales Manager
It is with great pleasure C. C. Hansen can announce the employment of Jesper Guglielmetti as Sales Manager per 3 January. Jesper comes from a similar position at Plast Team A/S. Jesper will be responsible for new as well as old customers in both Denmark and abroad.


29 October 10 - Snapper "the new generation"
C. C. Hansen has designed a new unique peg. The Snapper is constructed as one piece without a metal spring. With it's contemporary design and completely new spring function it is strikingly different from former decades of design. The Snapper is going to be ready for sale in the spring 2011.


26 October 09 - Retractable clothes lines and drying racks...

C. C. Hansen has again designed an unique quality peg. Like all our pegs "The Dragon Peg" can be delivered in just the colour and packaging you would prefeer...
